These standards describe how Life Choice Note Insights selects, verifies, and updates health explainers. Editorial responsibility rests with the Life Choice Note operator. We identify contributors and reviewers only to the extent their roles are verified.
Selection and verification
We cover developments in health and medicine, medical and scientific research, environment and health, and everyday life when they affect practical decisions. Press releases and other reports are leads; we check the original announcement, law, regulatory record, paper, or official dataset. We distinguish publication from effective dates and specify the country and population affected.
Research and medical claims
Research coverage identifies the study population, design, duration, comparator, magnitude of findings, and limitations. Peer review, preprints, regulatory authorization, and clinical adoption are separate matters. Our content is general information and does not prescribe treatment or medication changes. We do not claim medical review that did not occur.
Korean and English editions
Both editions may use the same primary source, but each is written for its readers’ questions and relevant national systems, approvals, and coverage. We do not simply duplicate a story when the applicable context differs.
Bylines, sources and dates
Stories show accountable authorship, original publication time, substantive update time, and links to original material. We do not claim interviews, field reporting, exclusive access, or expert review that did not happen. Dates are not changed merely to make old content appear new.
Corrections and updates
When a factual error is confirmed, we correct the affected text and any necessary headline, visual, or metadata, and note the correction and time at the end of the story. Material new information is marked as an update. Minor typographical fixes may not require a separate notice. Send the article URL and the sentence at issue through our contact page.
AI, images and video
AI may assist with organizing research, drafting, translation review, and explanatory visuals. Claims and figures are checked against primary material before publication. AI imagery is not presented as a real patient, event, or reporting scene; explanatory illustrations are identified where needed. We do not simulate on-site reporting we did not conduct. Official video footage is reused only when the relevant rights permit it.
Advertising and conflicts
Advertising, sponsorship, and affiliate relationships are disclosed and distinguished from editorial reporting. We assess potential conflicts and do not hide material limits or risks.
